On June 5, the National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science announced this year’s recipients of research grants. Five CFLC faculty members were among the recipients and one of them won a grant for a “key” research project, the first one for CFLC. Three faculty members from the Department of Foreign Language Education received grants.
The five recipients included:
Professor Chen Jing, with her “Research on the Theoretical Framework and Operating System of Interpreting Education Information”, the first-ever National Social Science Key Project for CFLC;
Associate Professor Bai Xuefeng, with his “Research on the Data Mining of U.S. Diplomatic Cables”;
Associate Professor WengBingying, with her “Research on ModianoNovels from the Perspective of Memory Poetics”;
Associate Professor Hu Shen’ai, with her “Follow-up Research on Acquisition of Relative Clauses by Children with Chinese Special Language Disorder and Children with Developmental Dyslexia;
Assistant Professor Peng Xin, with her “Multi-modal Conversational Analysis of Story Replays in Natural conversations", a National Social Science Youth Project.
