Three upperclassmen also spoke on behalf of current students. They shared their experience studying at CFLC and working as volunteer teachers in China’s northwestern province of Ningxia. They encouraged the freshmen to pursue their dreams, to strike a good balance between winning over not just with bright ideas but through people’s hearts and minds, to exert confidence but with humility, and to strive for their ambitions with responsibility and conscience.

The ceremony concluded with presentations of certificates of merits to selected current students and an announcement of the recipients of scholarships for the academic year of 2017-18.
