At 7 PM on November 19, a badminton match between CFLC and the College of the Humanities kicked off, with events including men’s and women’s singles and doubles and mixed doubles. CFLC graduate students Jiang Xun, Ai Jian, Fan Haopo, Pan Shuna and Wu Cuilian took part in the events. On the morning of November 26, CFLC students also played against students from the School of Public Health.

The CFLC badminton was formed in early November for the University badminton games. For half a month, they trained hard for hours in a stretch every day.

CFLC players’ suits also grabbed attention at the games. The words “Trust Your Teammates” were emblazoned on the chest of the suit against a white background. The suits were designed by Wu Cuilian, head of athletics at the CFLC Graduate Students Union.

In the women’s doubles, CFLC players Wu Cuilian and Hu Shuangyi defeated their opponents from the School of Public Health.

The CFLC badminton club welcomes all abilities; it doesn’t matter if you’ve hardly ever played and just want to have fun, or if you’re looking to play more seriously and improve your skills; everyone is welcome!
